Strategic Academy was proud to have five athletes represent the team at the 2026 Pan American Championship in Florida, one of the most prestigious tournaments in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
The team returned home with two Pan American Champions and one bronze medalist.
Congratulations to Aaron on capturing gold in the white belt division and to Mercedes, a former blue belt Pan American Champion who added another title to her accomplishments by winning gold at purple belt.
We also congratulate Darvi for earning third place in the brown belt division after a strong performance against some of the toughest competition in the sport.
While not every competitor reached the podium, all five athletes represented Strategic Academy with determination and professionalism on one of the biggest stages in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The Pan American Championship is widely regarded as one of the premier tournaments in the sport and attracts top competitors from around the world.
